Ronan Keating has revealed he’s making his acting debut this year.

In an interview with Australia’s 2Day FM, the Boyzone star said he’ll be heading down under to begin filming next month.

"I'm coming down on April 7, because I'm shooting my first movie in Australia," he told ‘The Kyle and Jackie O Show,' adding, "I just gave you a world exclusive actually.”

Ronan auditioned unsuccessfully for ‘The Hobbit’ last year so he’s remaining tight-lipped about this production.

"I can't tell you the title but I'm going to be on set on April 10 in Sydney," he said. “I'm very excited."
