Future of Slipknot “uncertain”

Corey Taylor has revealed to Undercover.fm that the future of Slipknot is “uncertain” since the death of bassist Paul Gray last year.

“There’ll definitely be new Stone Sour music,” he said. “But with Slipknot, there’s a huge piece missing now. A piece that fans can’t even understand. Obviously, we're doing these shows in the summer at Sonisphere and that's pretty much gonna be us dipping a toe in the water to see what happens.”

Taylor founded Stone Sour in 1992 and left in 1997 when he and fellow band member Jim Root joined Slipknot. The group reunited in 2002.
