Gwyneth Paltrow has signed a $900,000 deal with Atlantic Records to release her first album.

The actress, who performed at both the Grammys and the Oscars this year, first showcased her vocal ability in the movie ‘Country Strong’ and then in a recurring role on ‘Glee.’

According to insiders, the record's sound will be “country pop.”
