Pete Doherty has been linked to a record store robbery in Germany, during which a guitar and CDs worth £1850 were stolen.

A witness saw three men break into Shadillac in Regensburg on Tuesday night and reported to police that Doherty was among them. But the Babyshambles singer denies he was involved.

“I was there, but it wasn’t me,” he told German TV network, Sat 1. 

Doherty was in Germany filming scenes for  'Confession d'un Enfant du Siecle,' in which he stars opposite Charlotte Gainsburg.
