Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has been cast in a new HBO movie which will also star Nicole Kidman and Clive Owen.

‘Hemingway & Gellhorn’ is the story of writer Ernest Hemingway’s marriage to legendary war correspondent Martha Gellhorn. Ulrich will play the substantial role of Dutch documentarian, Joris Iven.

But this won’t be the Metallica star’s first time on a film set; he had a small role in last year’s ‘Get Him To The Greek,’ in which he played himself.
