Sammy Hagar is NY Times best seller

Former Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar has topped the New York Times best sellers list with his autobiography, “Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock.”

The legendary rocker, who has most recently become a tequila mogul, is currently No.1 in the ‘Hardcover Nonfiction’ section of the chart.

The memoir details Hagar’s upbringing in California, 11 years in Van Halen, business successes with Cabo Wabo Tequila and much more in a frank account of fame and its many trappings. It was released on March 15th and co-written by music journalist Joel Selvin.
