Miley Cyrus performed a medley of Joan Jett’s hits on ‘The Oprah Show’ yesterday, and was accompanied by the rock legend herself.

Cyrus belted out ‘Bad Reputation,’ ‘Cherry Bomb’ and ‘I Hate Myself (For Loving You)’ as part of the special 'Rock Goddesses of the 70s and 80s' episode.

Afterwards, Jett told Oprah that being taken seriously as a woman in the music business wasn’t easy.

“There are many glass ceilings. I had a really hard time in The Runaways just being taken seriously,” she explained. “A lot of the times you get pushback. I think it's really important for women to try to follow their dreams and push back the pushback."
