Good Charlotte have been forced to cancel a show scheduled for later this month in Bali over terrorism fears.

A notice from the promoter, Jack Daniel’s whiskey, on the band’s website reads: “Jack Daniel’s announces that The JD Set Bali, scheduled for Friday, 22 April, 2011, has been cancelled due to security warnings outside the country.”

 “We were really looking forward to appearing in Bali next week, but safety has to come first so obviously the right call has been made,” the band said in a statement.

In 2005, Bali was targeted by terrorist attacks which left 20 people dead and dozens more injured.
