Bono claims Spiderman musical hasn't been axed

U2 frontman Bono has clarified that his musical, 'Spiderman - Turn Off The Dark', has definitely not been axed and will meet its opening night deadline.

The 'Elevation' star and his bandmate Edge both wrote music for the project, which has suffered an onslaught of setbacks and safety concerns, but Bono has spoken to The Hollywood Reporter and explained everything is on track:

"We're opening Spider-Man on the 14th. I promise it's not been cancelled, and we're very excited about it. It's almost there - it will be there by opening night."
