Union J on what Zayn Malik could do now: 'He'd be a good door-to-door salesman'

'You Got It All' hitmakers Union J are the latest musical act to weigh in on Zayn Malik's departure from One Direction and they also suggested possible new career paths for the superstar.

Jaymi Hensley told Sugarscape that Malik could try his hand at being a door-to-door salesman as he is a well-known public figure who has millions of fans that would probably buy anything from him:

"I think he's got his job sorted, has he not? I think he'd be good at selling carpets door-to-door. Imagine if you could employ Zayn Malik to sell carpets or anything. Just imagine Zayn Malik doing door-to-door sales; he could pretty much get anyone to buy anything, could he not?"

Josh Cuthbert also gave his opinion on Malik's decision to quit the boyband and added that he was sad to see him go because he's so talented: "Judging by what he said – the pressure and everything of being in a band – I think he should lay low for a bit. We're working in Milkshake City today, so maybe he should do that for a bit then come back with a banging solo song."

"I'd love to do a duet with him, he's my favourite member so I was gutted to see him leave. I was surprised, actually. I like 1D and I think he's got the best voice of all of the boys and I was quite gutted to be honest, but you've got to respect his decision y'know?"
