(Nov. 18, 2015 – New York, NY) With just two days to go until the November 20th arrival of HANDWRITTEN REVISITED, the brand new single from the project, “I Know What You Did Last Summer” a duet co-written by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello of Fifth Harmony, has arrived today, making a major splash overnight since it's release at midnight, and already hitting the #3 spot on the iTunes chart within just hours of release!

The pair wrote I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER backstage in Shawn's green room on a Taylor Swift 1989 Tour show this past summer, and recorded it secretively in studio sessions in New York and LA over the past months. Speaking on the song, Mendes says “Working with Camila was amazing. We wrote this song backstage so spontaneously and are so excited about it finally being out for the world to hear" and Cabello adds “I love storytelling in songwriting and Shawn and I have awesome creative chemistry, so writing with him came incredibly naturally.” Cabello is currently in the studio with the rest of Fifth Harmony recording for the group’s second album, which is due out next year.

HANDWRITTEN REVISITED is a re-release of Shawn’s Handwritten album, which includes his consecutive hit singles “Stitches” which recently hit #1 at Top 40 for 2 consecutive (RIAA Double platinum), “Life of The Party” (RIAA platinum),and “Something Big” (RIAA gold). Handwritten entered the Soundscan album chart at #1 earlier this year, making Shawn the youngest artist in nearly five years to have a #1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. HANDWRITTEN REVISITED will include live versions of fivetracks from the original 12-song album, plus four brand new songs, one of which is “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”

In support of HANDWRITTEN REVISITED, Shawn has scheduled four high-profile album-release-week television appearances: ABC’s Live with Kelly & Michael (with Camila) on November 20th; the red carpet at ABC’s American Music Awards on November 22nd; CBS’s The Late Late Show with James Corden (with Camila) on November 23rd; and NBC’s annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 26th.

Shawn will be joining the all-star lineup of iHeart Radio’s Jingle Ball Tour 2015 for 10 selected shows between its December 1st opening at American Airlines Center in Dallas, and its December 19th climax at Amalie Arena in Tampa. Halloween marked Shawn’s final show as special guest (since May!) on Taylor Swift’s sold-out The 1989 World Tour. Already looking ahead to 2016, Shawn will play his biggest New York City concert to date, headlining Radio City Music Hall on Saturday, March 5th, which sold out in under 5 minutes.
