Adam French releases the video for Face To Face, the title track from his debut EP with Virgin EMI. Directed by James Slater (Jamie T, Blossoms), the video offers a medley of intriguing visuals of French’s ‘isolated bubble’ interweaved with his musical mastery - a brilliantly textured and strong accompaniment to French’s already impactful sound. “Face To Face reflects the idea of a relationship being an isolated bubble, a safe haven from opinion and the fact that we never really understand what love actually is, or how it got there. We share the same desire, we hold the same hope and we long for one and other in our absences. That feeling is powerful, dangerous and beautiful all at the same time”, French says.

Adam French is rapidly making waves having quickly awakened a legion of new fans with his emotive, cinematic sound, gathering recognition for the macabre found within his lyrics with tracks like Hunter, Euthanasia, Punchbag Love. Face To Face EP follows a AA side release at the end of last year (Hunter & Punchbag Love), which saw him earn a slot on the coveted Radio X - Great X-Pectations list. Previous tips have included BRIT Award winners James Bay, Royal Blood, Catfish & The Bottlemen.

23-year-old French hailing from Congleton in the North West (in-between Manchester & Stoke), cut his teeth on the northern gig circuit to now selling out shows in London and selling 400 tickets up in his native homes of Manchester & Stoke, as well as playing support slots for Frances, Rat Boy and Jack Garratt. Having recently co-headlined Communion’s ‘New Faces’ Tour, and fresh from playing his US debut shows in New York and LA, he is set to head out on his own Headline Tour in September including a ‘homecoming’ show at The Sugarmill in Stoke and London’s Electrowertz, plus festival performances across the summer.

With BBC Radio 1 support for Face To Face already from Huw Stephens and Phil Taggart, BBC Introducing recently premiered a filmed documentary detailing Adam’s musical journey from Congleton to NYC, including an hour-long radio broadcast about Adam’s music and development. Face To Face is the first of two EP releases this year, with an album planned for February 2017.
