Following the release of her stunning track ‘Not That Special’, Brighton based singer/songwriter has announced her debut EP of the same name and released the 2nd track, ‘17’ today. The four-track release will come out via Closer Recordings/Virgin EMI on the 25th of April.

‘17’ is a lush, feel good piece of Neo-Soul, with Moore’s voice dominating as she celebrates the carefree nature of being young, and the desire to choose your own path. The video encapsulates this, shot completely live in the legendary Brighton music pub, the Marwood, it see’s Lily embracing the pure joy of simply being with friends and doing what you love.

She recently announced her first headline show (sold out), taking place on the May 1st at London’s famous Slaughtered Lamb pub as well as a support slot for James Bay on his UK & European tour in May and June. These shows will follow her recent support dates with Vance Joy on his sold out tour of Europe and George Ezra upcoming sold out UK tour (starting 29th March).

‘17’ joins the previously released title track, and two brand new songs on the EP. ‘Lying to yourself’ is a plaintive piano ballad, tinged with Gospel which asks an unknown partner for honesty, while 'Come and See Inside my Mind’ is an intimate portrait of opening up to someone.

Born in London but raised in Brighton, Lily would keep an early taste for inner-city, soulful masters of their crafts like Etta James, Lauryn Hill and Sam Cooke. Meanwhile Lily’s own song writing has developed into a disarmingly stripped-back style that recalls the youthful wryness and thick-skinned power of a young Amy Winehouse or Lianne La Havas.

Not just content with playing support on sold out tours, Lily also set up her own club night at London’s Mau Mau (called More Moore at Mau Mau, the first night featuring the likes of Tom Grennan, Etham & Plested on the bill) and will be playing a host of festivals this summer including The Great Escape, Boardmasters and Barn on the Farm.

Live Dates:

26th March – BBC Introducing at the NED - London
3rd April – O2 Academy Brixton (supporting George Ezra) - London
1st May – Debut Headline show at the Slaughtered lamb SOLD OUT – London
29th May – Roundhouse (supporting James Bay) - London
