London-based duo, Rainbow Shark, are made up of Jack Levy (vocals, keys, laptop) and Bill Wright (guitars). Starting out as a project in Levy’s back room in Manchester, Wright joined the setup when the increasingly intricate live performances demanded another pair of hands.

Their debut, self-titled EP was recorded at Manchester’s 80 Hertz studios in 2013. Released to widespread acclaim, the EP received positive reviews from a series of prominent music blogs, as well as exposure on local and national radio.

After a short hiatus, Rainbow Shark are back with a new sound in the form of their EP, ‘A Light Echo’. The record draws upon R&B and electronic influences, yet stays true to the band’s characteristic, melancholic sound.

The EP is available to listen to on Soundcloud and the duo are taking bookings for shows, sessions and interviews.
