* MUX ARE A GRITTY ELECTRONIC DUO WHO AT A YOUNG AGE HAVE ALREADY SUPPORTED BAND OF SKULLS, SURVIVED DRUGGY BAND MEMBERS AND HEART ATTACKS ON STAGE. THEIR PULSING BEATS, DISREGARD FOR SONG STRUCTURE, AND SCATTERGUN MELODIES MAKE THEM A UNIQUE AND EXCITING BAND FOR 2018 *
Alternative-electronic duo MUX combine the use of guitar, vocals, synthesizers and drum machines to create their own exploratory and unique blend of gritty alternative music and electronica. Having notably been selected by Band of Skulls as support for their Independent Venue Week tour and headlined their own shows across the UK, off the back of their debut EP ‘Can You See Who?’.
MUX have now completed two new, delightfully dark compositions ready to reach those who are open to something on the atypical edge of modern music and with the feel of something ever so slightly askew.
MUX have been building quite a reputation for themselves at the moment; all for the right reasons. They manage to blend such sophisticated genres and sounds with our most primal aptitudes creating a gritty complexion that can't be wiped away in a hurry.
Frenetic, unique, exploratory and imaginative; that just begins to sum up this group. Throw in some stoner rock elements, some electronica and a little bit of flair, only now do you have this incredibly vibrant, diverse backbone to this ever-satisfying tribal demeanour.
