Soundsphere magazine relocates to Chester

National online music publication, Soundsphere has recently relocated from Manchester to Chester in an effort to improve its reach, and work with local bands and artists to improve the music scene.

Dom Smith, editor and founder of Soundsphere magazine (and also co-founder of Disabled Entrepreneurs - Dom himself has Cerebral Palsy) comments on the move: "It's important for us to travel as far and wide as possible to find the coolest alternative music - rock, metal, punk, electronic and indie - that we can. Chester is close enough to the likes of Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds so that we can continue working with our established audience, but also branch out."

Soundsphere magazine has built up a reputation within the music industry over the last seven years starting in York and moving to Manchester - working with, and interviewing the likes of Placebo, The 1975, Pendulum, The Prodigy, Frank Turner and many others. The brand has also put on many live music showcases, promoting new and diverse music in cities like the aforementioned York, as well as Hull and London.

"As well as providing coverage to the many things going on around here, we are looking forward to putting on DIY live shows showcasing talent in and around Chester, ad we hope that we can work with the talented and dedicated creatives in the city to promote the area's great scene."
