 ‘Passin By’ is another banger from London’s rap / afrobeats trailblazers, Belly Squad. The trio once again teamed up with TSB (producer of ‘Long Time’ and J HUS’ ‘Common Sense’ single ‘Spirit’), to create another head-bopping street anthem - the beatmaker has out done himself with an intricate arrangement that immediately surpasses his previous output.

It was first heard at their Notting Hill Carnival performance for Red Bull (alongside WizKid and Stefflon Don), Max, Ty and Ross have been perfecting the tune ever since - creating an anthem that is as innovative as it is catchy, and easily their most accomplished work to date.

It’s filled with the same sing-a-long hooks and tongue-in-cheek lyricism they’ve become famed for, and conclusively displays their versatility as masters of both UK rap and the afro fusion sound they pioneered with ‘Banana’, ‘Sun Goes Down’ and ‘Lifestyle’.

They had an incredible 2017, releasing a string of quick fire bangers and playing alongside WizKid, Migos, M.I.A., Stefflon Don, and 67 at parties all over (Lovebox, Meltdown and Notting Hill Carnival to name a few). They closed the year with a a sold out debut headline show at London’s Omeara, which saw special guest appearances from 23, Lotto Boyzz, Suspect, Section Boyz, and Young T and Bugsey, as well as a masterclass in shelling from Max, Ty and Ross. Already confirmed for Wireless, 2018 is their year… #BELLYSEASON.
