Warner Chappell Music Appoints Anastasia Ellis Vice President of Regional European Administration

Warner Chappell Music today announces the appointment of Anastasia Ellis as Vice President, Regional European Administration. Ellis joins from the Copyright team at Kobalt Music Publishing. In her new role, effective from 14th September, she will report into Claire McAuley, Warner Chappell Music’s Senior Vice President of Global Administration.

Ellis will be responsible for the regional coordination of all European administration functions, inputting into and ensuring the execution of the publisher’s global strategy across Europe. She will collaborate with all sectors of Warner Chappell’s business to develop new initiatives and deliver the very best in publishing administration, while leading, motivating and directing the local UK Administration team.

We have to continuously innovate and develop our teams to stay at the top of our game, and bringing in someone like Anastasia to look after our European business ensures we’re doing just that.”

Ellis started her career at PRS for Music as a copyright officer. She joined Kobalt in 2011 as a Senior Copyright Assistant and over the course of nine years worked her way up to VP, Copyright.

In that latter role, Ellis led a team of 50 to successfully execute the company’s copyright administration strategy, ensuring global KPIs and targets were met. She restructured processes to increase efficiency with a focus on business priorities and solidified closer links to further afield markets such as Australia, Asia and Latin America.
