Warner Music Chappell France, part of the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group, has signed a worldwide co-publishing deal with Some 1ne and Machynist, a duo of Grammy-nominated, Diamond certified arrangers, composers and producers.

The pair are best known for their work with international star Aya Nakamura, composing her smash hit songs ‘Djadja’ and ‘Pookie’. They also produced the No Crari, the second album from rising French rap star OBOY, which contained the single ‘TDB’, which went to Number 1 in France and was the big summer hit of 2021. They blend different musical styles ranging from Afro to pop and urban music.

Some 1ne and Machynist say: “We’re excited to be working with Joris and the team. We’ve already been taking on more international projects and feel that Warner Chappell’s global presence will help us expand that side of what we do.
