NHL on TNT will feature a Western Conference showdown as the Dallas Stars, on a seven-game winning streak, visit the Las Vegas Golden Knights this Wednesday, December 8. Brendan Burke will provide play-by-play, along with commentary from Darren Pang and Jennifer Botterill.

Coverage will begin at 10 p.m. ET with NHL on TNT Face Off Presented by Verizon pregame coverage emanating from the state-of-the-art NHL on TNT set in Atlanta. Host Liam McHugh will be joined by three-time Stanley Cup Champion Rick Tocchet, 10-year NHL veteran Anson Carter and hockey personality and former AHL & NHL veteran Paul Bissonnette.

During the night’s postgame coverage, TNT will present the second installment of the “Road to the NHL Winter Classic” docuseries featuring exclusive, behind-the-scenes access to the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild as they prepare for the legendary outdoor game. This week brings viewers inside Minnesota Wild captain Jared Spurgeon’s time with his family, including a look at the next generation of hockey players, as he attends one of his son’s games.

Additional installments of the Road to the NHL Winter Classic series will air each week during the network’s NHL postgame coverage, leading up to the 2022 Discover NHL Winter Classic on TNT — New Year’s Day at 7 p.m. from Target Field in Minneapolis.
