CJ FLY RELEASES AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL SINGLE + MUSIC VIDEO “SHOW YOU” TODAY VIA PRO ERA RECORDSANNOUNCES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED “RUDEBWOY” ALBUM RELEASE ON MARCH 6THOFFICIAL PRESS RELEASENEWS PROVIDED BY Warner Music Group New York, NY (January 29, 2020) – Rising Brooklyn rapper and Pro Era Records standout CJ Fly releases his newest Statik Selektah [Freddie Gibbs, Bun B] produced single and its accompanying music video for “Show You” today. He also announces the release of his highly anticipated new album “RUDEBWOY” out March 6th. With the “Show You” video (directed by CJ Fly and David Janoff), CJ takes us on a journey through his hometown of Brooklyn – the energy of the visuals perfectly compliment Statik Selektah's boom-bap beat and CJ’s borough rich lyrics. The track’s entrancing beat and spitfire lyrics paired with the video’s old-school static and tour through the city, which features his real-life girlfriend Emilia Ortiz, emphasize the message CJ is sharing in “Show You”. The scenes and lyrics introduce his past and give a deeper look into CJ’s life as he states, "I can show you where it's nice, I can show you where it ain't". On the single, CJ comments, “‘Show You’ is a high energy boom bap classic that was created to take listeners on a journey through Brooklyn from my birth to present. It’s a preview into my life and almost biographical. I reveal things that some of my closest friends or fans may not have even known about myself and my father.” “Show You” follows last year’s “City We From” [feat. Conway the Machine] and “RUDEBWOY” [feat. Joey Bada$$]. The singles turned heads, as Billboard proclaimed the latter as, “rowdy,” and Earmilk described it as “a patois-tinged jam” in addition to coverage by HYPEBEAST, Okayplayer, HotNewHipHop, and many others. With a new album on the way, this is just the beginning of the CJ Fly era. Tracklisting for RUDEBWOY: About CJ Fly: He shared their love for music and always wanted to be a musician of some sort.
