ADA Worldwide, Warner Music Group’s independent label and artist services arm, today announced the final additions to its reimagined leadership structure, turbocharging its offering by instating marketing and tech product leads. Sam Juneman joins the company as Head of Marketing & Services and Andrea Slobodien has been named ADA’s first-ever Head of Product & Integration. Both Juneman and Slobodien will be based on the West Coast and report directly to ADA’s President, Cat Kreidich.

This news follows the recent appointment of Marcus Siskind to Head of U.S., overseeing business development & label management and Adriana Sein to Head of International, focused on ADA’s global business.

“We’ve had many conversations about ADA’s reinvention, about how we evolve to better serve our artists and label partners. A big part of that is making sure we’re properly set up to be agile, work efficiently, and collaborate across the organization to drive real impact,” said Kreidich. “It was important that we brought in people who share in our vision for the future, with a tech-forward approach and an unwavering commitment to the indie community. I’m pleased to say that Sam and Andrea are all that and more. Together with our new leadership team, we’re focused on innovating and supporting creators so that our artists and labels can focus on what they do best and run their businesses.”

As the Head of Marketing & Services, Juneman leads ADA’s artist services, marketing, and commercial teams. In this role, she’ll define and lead the company’s holistic marketing efforts, from audience development to commercial strategy, as well as catalog optimization. Juneman will work closely with Siskind to develop label and artist businesses in the U.S. and Sein to scale services and support global repertoire growth. She’ll also collaborate with WMX, Warner Music Group’s pioneering artist services division, to expand client service offerings.

"Cat has assembled an amazing and proven group dedicated to helping artists and labels achieve their biggest dreams, and I couldn't be more grateful to be a part of it,” said Juneman. “Working across the organization, we’ll deepen our services and expand our capabilities, informed by a data-driven approach."

In the new role leading ADA’s Product & Integration efforts, Slobodien is responsible for translating ADA’s broader strategy into an innovative, all-encompassing product and technology vision. This means developing third party label and artist services tech while advancing operations functionality and synergy within the broader Warner Music ecosystem – driving an end-to-end value chain to meet artists where they are in their careers, and support their development and success.

“Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to develop the right tools and technology as a foundation for a company to flourish,” said Slobodien. “The needs of the indie community are unique and wide-ranging, and I’m excited to help develop solutions customized for their business. I genuinely can’t wait to dig in and get to work to help our artists and labels thrive.”

Juneman comes to ADA after close to a decade at Universal Music Group working in marketing, content, and commercial partnerships for artists including Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, and Big Sean. She most recently served as Vice President of Music Strategy & Tactics, where she led the Global Curation and Curation Strategy team focused on playlisting, product strategy and innovation, and creative partnerships. In 2019, Juneman was named to Billboard’s 40 under 40 list. She’s a member of the Recording Academy, a new member of Chief, an Advisory board member for the University of the Pacific, and is establishing a new junior board with the Music Biz trade organization.

Prior to joining ADA, Slobodien spent almost a decade in product management and innovation leadership roles across a variety of companies in the music & gaming industries. She most recently served as the Head of Product for ProGuides (acquired by Statespace, makers of Aim Lab) and as the Product Innovation Lead for DistroKid, where she built products like Upstream, first-of-their-kind Twitch integrations, and instant mastering tools. Slobodien began her career as the first Product hire at 8tracks, where she ran the gamut of product management, including web and app redesigns, direct sale ads and subscriptions, data analytics tools and recommenders, and licensing. Slobodien then joined Smule in 2016 and spent almost three years at the company, where her innovation in audio and video recording technology was recognized with a patent.

In addition to these appointments, Ty Teixeira joins ADA from DistroKid as Vice President of Operations, reporting to Slobodien.
