Will.i.am says he would like to become a British citizen.

The American is regularly in the country and he is a coach on the UK Voice.

Speaking to The Sun, the musician said that he says Britain feels like "home".

He said: "I want to become a proper Brit. I have been coming here for years and I just like it, it feels like home."

Will.i.am added: "'I want to live in The Shard but it is expensive and this show doesn't really pay the bill but I'll figure it out."

The US star meanwhile currently stars alongside Brits Rita Ora, Tom Jones and Ricky Wilson on The Voice.
