Will.i.am is open to resuming his coaching role on The Voice UK next year.

The TV talent show's second series is currently reaching reaching its climax as the US star battles it out with Jessie J, Sir Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue to win.

The BBC confirmed at the end of May that they had recommissioned the programme for a third series in 2014.

Speaking to The Sun, will.i.am revealed that he would like to return to the show when it re-emerges next year. He said:

"I have thought about next year. If you are having a good time doing something I don't see why you'd want to stop. I'd be up for coming back. I like hanging out with Jessie and Dan and Tom's company."

The current series meanwhile currently sees each act coaching their final three competitors, with will.i.am tutoring Cleo Higgins, Leah McFall and Leanne Jarvis.
