Will.i.am has revealed his desire to hold a Black Eyed Peas festival across the world.

The US star told the Mirror that he wants to hold the event in nearly every continent across the globe, with the band playing at each festival.

The Voice UK coach suggested that the idea reflects how artists struggle to make money from selling albums and singles. He said:

"I go to YouTube to hear music and it's there streaming, for free. Very few artists have made money by selling records.

"I am trying to figure out how to make a Black Eyed Peas festival every country. I want one in Brazil, France, Japan and the UK and South Africa and Asia."

The Black Eyed Peas, however, haven't performed live together since 2011.
