As London makes its final preparations for the Olympics, Scissor Sisters will be headlining the Americas stage at the BT River of Music event this Saturday, July 21st in the historic and suitably dramatic setting of the Tower of London! Next week will also see the release of new single ‘Baby Come Home’, taken from their fantastic album ‘Magic Hour’ which is out now.
 
Part of the London 2012 Festival, the BT River of Music kicks off 12 weeks of cultural celebrations with acts from all over the world. For those unable to make Saturday’s show, the whole set will bestreamed live on digital arts channel The Space from 8pm here:www.TheSpace.org.
 
Ahead of Saturday’s headline show, Scissor Sisters will also be performing the new single Baby Come Home’on ITV1’s ‘Superstar’ TONIGHT at 9pm.

Baby Come Home’follows the euphoric Calvin Harris-produced single ‘Only The Horses’, which hit the charts following Scissor Sisters’ live performance on The Voice and two intimate sold out shows at Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
 
Magic Hour’ is the result of a series of team-ups between Scissor Sisters – Jake Shears, Babydaddy, Ana Matronic and Del Marquis - and a whole host of stellar artists, writers and producers, includingAzealia BanksCalvin HarrisStuart PricePharrell Williams,Diplo and Alex Ridha, the German electronic music producer and DJ behind BoysNoize.
