Perkins and Page’s Thursday Night Special At Killer Yacht Club in Marina Del Rey

Epic musicians Scott Page from Pink Floyd, Supertramp and Toto and Stephen Perkins from Jane’s Addiction will be performing on Thursday nights beginning January 2, 2020 at the Killer Yacht Club located within the famous Killer Shrimp restaurant in Marina Del Rey. Perkins and Page will be hosting a celebration every Thursday night from 9pm – 1am and will be bringing in iconic musicians to guest. Join them for these quintessential and powerful jam sessions every week.

Celebrating a musical history Killer Shrimp's founder Lee Michaels, is the rock musician who is recognized for his powerful and soulful voice, his virtuosity on the Hammond organ, and his top 10 pop song, "Do You Know what I Mean", Michaels first made his secret "Killer Shrimp" recipe at home for his young children. Twenty plus years later he and his sons have focused on preserving the quality of the original secret recipe, delivering over the top customer service, and keeping prices affordable.

Imagine having a successful restaurant concept for over 20 years serving only one single signature dish, Killer Shrimp. The venue boasts having "5,000 square feet of dining fantasy" with 240 seats, intimate booths, and family-style tables. Nestled on the Harbor it offers sublime and mesmerizing water views, and 300 feet of public boat docking making it the only "dock and dine" destination in the city.

Aside from dining, "Killer Shrimp" is also a Club. Behind the in plain sight bookcases is a secret, plush Speak Easy holding approximately 120 people, centered with a Baby Grand Piano, where Perkins and Page will perform. Originally invited down by guitarist John Reda, (owner of Sound Marketing, the biggest distributor of Harmon products, and recently acquired by Samsung), Scott and the band immediately sensed a magical vibe.

Page, Perkins, and Think:EXP will be rocking the house along with a variety of various guest musicians on January 4th, 2020 as well.

When asked about his excitement playing in a venue that Lee Michaels he answered, “Lee Michaels and Frosty have always been among my favorites. Frosty is one of the greatest shuffle drummers of all time and Lee Michaels grooves are undeniable. Maybe with a little bit of luck we can get them down to play a set.
