Wendy Stuart Kaplan and Steven Bloomer-Teague will be hosting TriVersity Talk this Thursday at 7 pm ET with featured guest Ms. Penny Cost.

TriVersity Talk is a weekly web series with featured guests discussing their lives, activism and pressing issues in the LGBTQ Community. With TriVersity Talk!, the goal is to laugh and learn.

TriVersity Talk! Is part of TriVersity’s ICARE Initiative. ICARE stands for Increasing Community Awareness through Relevant Education. ICARE Programs are generously funded by The Greater Pike Community Foundation.

Ms. Penny (She/her/hers) is a 23 year old Drag Queen and certified candidate for ordination within the United Methodist Church. Wendy and Steven can't wait to talk to Ms. Penny about her candidacy for ordination, her faith in the face of opposition, and the impact of using the art form of drag to bring encouragement and hope through a religious perspective.

More about Ms. Penny Cost: When Ms. Penny is out of drag, she works as the Director of Operations for Hope United Methodist Church: an anti-racist, fully affirming, and Drag filled congregation. Ms. Penny hopes to help show that queerness and spirituality need not be mutually exclusive. Her drag is a reclamation and reconstruction of faith which aims to show all people as whole-ly and holy made!
