There is nothing like the feeling of the summer sun meeting the leaves of autumn. As the first fallen leaf waves goodbye to summer, tans will fade but the memories will last forever. Celebrate forever and summer’s end on Saturday September 21 @ 7:00 PM as Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (76 Main St., Westhampton Beach 631-288-1500) welcomes Award-Winning Composer RANDY EDELMAN in a rare Long Island performance as he shares the journey and the echoes of his career and the joy of his music in “Waltzing On A High Wire.”

Most recently Randy has just released his first single “Birds of Freedom”, a song inspired by the hope for peace from his newest album “Waltzing On A High Wire” which will be unveiled September 6, 2024; and available to stream worldwide. He will also be releasing the full -ength LP via CD and on a double vinyl record. This WBPAC concert is a prelude to his appearance at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall on December 8, 2024.

Music royalty Randy Edelman’s songs have been covered by some of the most prestigious entertainers on this side of history including Barry Manilow (A Weekend In New England), Patti LaBelle(Isn’t It A Shame, Nelly (My Place), Dionne Warwick, Willy Nelson, Olivia, Newton-John, The Carpenters, Bing Crosby, Blood, Sweat and Tears, and an array of others. Aside from that he remains one of the busiest and most demanded movie and television soundtrack architects with films including “Last of the Mohicans”, “Gettysburg”, “My Cousin Vinny”, “While You Were Sleeping”, “Ghostbusters ll”, "The Mask", "Dragonheart", the hit television series “MacGyver”, and over 100 others. He has also written themes for NASA and the Olympics.
