Lemonfest - the 1 day festival spectacular (with camping) – reveals its full blistering line-up. With four nominations at the recent 2014 UK festival awards, Lemonfest is fast-becoming one of the UK’s premiere boutique music festivals with a reputation for line-ups that punch well above its weight.

World-conquering UK indie rock outfit The Subways are a proud booking for the main stage, along with the inimitable DJ Yoda who will to skilfully cut & paste through his new ‘Breakfast of Champions’ live show. Multiple award winning outfit, Dub Pistols and the UK’s revered scruffy sage, Beans on Toast polish-off a stirling top-billing.

Cornish Reggae rockers and festival favourites ‘Backbeat Soundsystem’ – who are finding popularity in the States, will lively up the crowd along with lyrical Dream Pop specialists Matthew & Me, plus Too Many T’s, 3 Daft Monkeys and Seven Cities.

Electro-terrifiers Lords of Lightning’ from the outlandish Arcadia group will zapp through an awe-inspiring spectacle. Prepare to be shocked as ‘creative genius meets electrical wizardry’. Then the faithful Silent Disco’ will stay open until 4am for those who aren’t quite ready for bed yet (campers only).

An exciting partnership with MIXMAG sees Lemonfest’s dance village – made up of the Rinse:It Drum & Bass Arena and Souloud House & Techno tent, re-branded as the Lemonfest DANCE DSTRKT.

Unashamedly epic UK Drum & Bass duo DC Breaks will headline the RINSE:IT stage, the RAM Records pair recently soared into mainstream success with the smash single ‘Faithless’. Known across the House world for attention grabbing releases and rocking crowds at Space Ibiza, Zoo Project, and Manchester’s Warehouse Project, rising DJ /Producer Jamie Trench tops the Souloud bill. Also joining the Lemonfest DANCE DSTRKT line-up will be Drum & Bass Don; DJ PHANTASY and UK house stalwarts Rejekts. RINSE:IT regulars Mr Nice and Insomniax are also welcomed back to the fray.

The New ‘Downtown Arena’ is an interactive area with immersive theatre, artwork and DJs playing funk/soul/disco/60s/70s forms the final part of DANCE DSTRKT. It’s open until late late late and headlined by Raul Pindi’s Disco Vortex.

BBC Introducing again supports the ‘Locally Grown’ stage with live broadcasts and interviews. This stage has become an important factor which has allowed the festival to maintain popularity and cultivate the best local bands. Look out for local ‘filthy-indie-blues’ duo Moriaty’ fresh from releasing their single featuring Chris Wolstenhome of MUSE.

Other attractions include: International food stalls including the Lemonfeast Street Food Market, both of which will compliment a ‘Mini Local Real Ale and Cider Fest’. Plus! Space hopper racing, fairground rides, Kids area and Busking at the Bar Stage.

Organiser Matt Freemantle: “This is our strongest line-up yet. The addition of Lords of Lightning is a very exciting one for us, and will provide astonishment for those catch them on the day. Our Mixmag partnership in the Dance DSTRKT  is also a  real statement of intent as we continue striving towards our ambition of putting on the UK’s best boutique festival. We also cannot wait to open the doors to our new DOWNTOWN arena, which is going to be epic!”

Now in its 6th year, this esteemed festival will stay true to its original ethos of no major sponsors or VIP area and remains completely self-sufficient. Despite the opportunity to expand, organisers will keep the event small and perfectly formed.
