Zayn Malik has beaten his former One Direction bandmates in Glamour magazine's list of the 100 sexiest men alive.

The singer reached No.5 on the list - beating Harry Styles by one place.

Niall Horan came in at No.12, with Louis Tomlinson two places behind at No.14.

Liam Payne had to make to do with No.25.

The top four places meanwhile went to actors, with Aidan Turner bagging No.1.

He was followed by Jamie Dornan, Tom Hiddleston and Henry Cavill.

The top placed music man outside of Malik and One Direction was Justin Bieber at No.7.
