Zayn Malik has confirmed his first solo TV interview.

The singer will appear on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on February 17.

The Brit will be promoting his debut single 'Pillowtalk' and upcoming debut album 'Mind of Mine', which is due to land on March 25.

He is also set to perform live.

However, it marks the second attempt at Malik breaking his solo TV duck.

The former One Direction man had been scheduled to appear on the UK's Graham Norton show in January.

However, he cancelled the slot to concentrate working in the studio.

Malik's 'Pillowtalk' reached No.1 in the UK on Monday (February 1) and it is expected to stay there when the official chart is announced today (February 5).
