Zayn Malik and Taylor Swift achieve new UK sales milestone

The British Phonographic Industry has today (February 3) confirmed that Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik's 'Fifty Shades Darker' collaboration, 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever', has achieved an impressive new sales milestone in the UK.

The track has now gone Silver in the UK, selling over 200,000 copies since its release. In BTS footage from the music video shoot, Swift praised Malik for his vocal ability:

"I've known Zayn for a really long time. I think his voice is one that is really rare. It's really, really amazing to get to work together. It's amazing when you get to work with people who you hang out with. The question of, 'Will we get along?', is already answered. We know we get along like, 'Yeah it's fine.'"

Olly Murs is now celebrating Gold certification for his single 'You Don't Know Love' (400,000 copies), Shawn Mendes's 'Mercy' has reached the same target, and Hailee Steinfeld's 'Starving' is now Silver in the UK.
