FORMER ONE DIRECTION MEMBER WENT LIVE WITH FANS FROM UK, US, IRAN, FRANCE, AUSTRALIA, SPAIN, AND ITALY AND SIGNED DIGITAL ARTWORK OF NEW ALBUM ‘LP1’

The innovative music app, QJAM, has successfully launched with close to 10,000 people viewing the launch event, and has broken into the Music App Store chart on day one.

Hosting the world’s first global digital signing event with former One Direction member Liam Payne at 5.15pm last night, QJAM brought the exciting release week experience to fans in 67 different countries at once.

Viewed by over 9000, and with over 3000 in the queue, 10 lucky fans were chosen at random to speak one-to-one in a live video chat with Liam, whilst also he answered many more of 30k+ messages sent in the chat. Fans then walked away with a video clip of their conversation and personally signed artwork of ‘LP1’, and have since been shared on social media.

This experience modernises the record store album signing experience in a fresh and innovative way. Making personal connections with fans in far flung places is vital for artists in a global streaming era and fans have responded well to Liam Payne offering this opportunity.

QJAM now provides artists with the tools to host their own signing events from any location and engage with fans at a crucial time around release, and more launch events are already planned.
