Following on from recent releases 'Pull The Trigger', 'Manspredator' and 'Closeted HomoFObe', this latest cut comes with today's announcement of their upcoming second album as the band reveal the title, track list, release date and artwork inspired by the Bisexual flag (see below).

Speaking about today's new single, frontman Joe says: "Save the Planet You Dumb Shit is about all the small things you can do to clean up our world so our grandchildren can live without worrying about the ozone layer. Like reusing a plastic bag at the grocery store, before you stop at McDonalds on your way home in your Jeep."

The track arrives in the wake of their riotous first UK tour, which saw their flamboyant whirlwind of shitpunk sweeping the nation and leaving new fans utterly dumbfounded and desperate for more. The next stop for Joe & the Shitboys will be at Left of the Dial festival in Rotterdam this weekend.

The Reson For Hardcore Vibes (Again) will be released on 16th November via Tutl Records, and is available to pre-order now on 7" pink vinyl here.

About Joe & The Shitboys

The bisexual vegan shitpunks, Joe & The Shitboys, formed with the intention of calling out shitty behaviour in the conservative Faroe Islands, where the rock scene is filled with boneless homophobes and meat-eating misogynists - and continue to take their aim at general vibe killers everywhere.

The live shows are full of energy, with a barrage of songs often under a minute long, like “Drugs R’4 Kidz”, "Life Is Great You Suck" and “If You Believe in Eating Meat, Start With Your Dog”, being broken up by the flamboyant frontman roasting the audience relentlessly.
The band have played every local venue there is, from G! Festival, Faroe Pride and the Faroese Music Awards - where they won Artist of the Year - to DIY gigs on roof tops, public toilets, underground tunnels, museums and skateparks.

The response to their 2019 show at Iceland Airwaves led to a slot in the converted NME 100 tips list as well as extensive bookings from major festivals like Eurosonic, The Great Escape, Lowlands, Pukkelpop, Boardmasters and more, as well as their long-awaited UK tour in September 2021. With rave reviews coming in from Iggy Pop, BBC Radio 6 Music, NME, DIY, Dork, The Line of Best Fit, Gigwise, Brooklyn Vegan and more, the band are already tipped as one of the most exciting new live acts around.

Now with the second album 'The Reson For Hardcore Vibes (Again)' arriving soon, expect more ferocious fun to come from this incredibly unique four-piece.
