BBC Radio and Global FM radio stations Play Manchester Bands New Single - Released 9th March

Hidden Hidden – An epic and emotional track, exploring loneliness, despair and feelings of isolation, amidst bustling city streets, even when surrounded by crowds, and friends". Shot on location against a panoramic, industrial, urban landscape, Manchester, England. Hidden is the 3rd Single taken from the acclaimed album “missing peace”.

Named as Album of the Year – The Morning Star (National Press).

The Video for hidden was shot and produced by manchester film makers croftwerk productions, recorded and mixed at Black-Triangle Studios Manchester and mastered at Metropolis studios London by the Accalimed producer Stuart Hawkes, who has previously worked on releases by; Amy Winehouse, Rudimental, Example, Disclosure, Jessie Ware, and Katy B.

"10 piece Urban Dance outfit, The Moods, bring their unique; electronic dance, Hip Hop, reggae party back to venues across the UK as they exclusively unveil dates for a 10 day UK tour & announce the release of their 3rd single “Hidden” taken from the acclaimed album “missing peace”. As the worlds leaders, posture and trade political rhetoric and Europe contemplates a post brexit world, the moods channel all their energy into writing and performing their vital, mighty music. The Moods “make you dance and think”.

After a monumental 2017, the moods accelerate into 2018 at an exponential rate. Hailing from Manchester and the North West, The Moods are a ten-piece collective creating socially charged rap dealing with topics such as corruption, poverty, injustice and inequality. This new 10 date UK tour showcases songs from their acclaimed album, “Missing Peace,” and provides an opportunity to witness the brilliant moods show live in some of the UK,s classic indie venues . The Missing Peace tour Kicks off in Blackpool, on the 9th February, calling at ; Edinburgh, Rawtenstall, Glasgow, Doncaster, Manchester, Liverpool, Barnsley and St Helens, ending in a massive end of tour party in London at Nambucca. Those who have not got a copy of the album, will be able to buy it at shows, The record is still available both in CD and Vinyl Formats and is currently stocked in record stores across the UK and Europe and is selling as far away as Japan.

The band have been hotly tipped as ; Ones To Watch 2018- and described as;"Rage Against the Machine, The Prodigy and The Happy Monday’s mixed, into a grime-soufflé".  In the 12 weeks since its release the Moods Album has had a phenomenal impact, with physical and download sales in over 24 countries, hundreds of thousands of streams and stellar reviews. Two massive Singles, Joy and P.O.P (Profit over People) achieved multiple plays on BBC Lancashire & Sheffield, with 35 other regional and student FM stations, plus global internet radio stations broadcasting tracks from missing peace to over 100 countries, and videos racking up in excess of 30,000 views on U-Tube, Facebook, & Vevo TV.

The moods have a massive year ahead, having built a huge following across the Northwest, and gained a significant fan-base in further cities across the UK. In 2017, they completed, two 15 date UK tours last year plus major festival appearances. These included; packing out the, O2 Ritz in Manchester for the album launch and sell out dates in Glasgow, and London. The band also packed out venues in; Liverpool, Blackpool, Preston, Bolton, Scunthorpe, Doncaster and Edinburgh, and wowed festival crowds all summer long.  Approaching 20,000 people saw the live shows and they played in 13 cities in 16 different venues. Their Album Missing Peace was released to critical acclaim at the end of September, Sold Out in HMV, MCR & Birmingham in a few days, was voted album of the year by the national news paper “The Morning Star” and has sold in 24 countries globally, and is currently selling well in record shops across the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain, even Japan.

Whats Next For the Moods  
The 3rd Single “Hidden” will be released in Mid March and is accompanied by a stunning new video, the band have also just completed a major new photo shoot on location in urban Manchester. The band are out on tour now Through spring and early summer before festival season hits, then another autumn tour with plans for Europe, Ireland and beyond, to coincide with the release a new EP. Its a busy time ahead for the moods.
