Heavy Rock Band Rigasaurus Set To Release Their Debut EP 'SWIM'

Rigasaurus set out to create a fresh new sound of heavy, spaced rock ’n’ roll. From their inception the band have played an unrelenting style of heavy rock music that has seen them shaking floors in the Sydney music scene since 2013. After honing their sound on the live circuit and in the rehearsal room, 2015 sees Rigasaurus set to release their debut EP SWIM

First sessions for the EP were held at RTN studios in Newcastle early in the year, with the band finishing the tracks in September. Working with engineer Jeff Mullard, SWIM sees the band displaying the sound they have been showcasing live whilst expanding upon their musical themes, taking full advantage of the recording process by experimenting with everything the studio had to offer.

SWIM showcases driving rhythms, huge guitars and distinct vocal melodies that twist and turn throughout an exciting and unique recording that sees the band drawing on its influences to create an original vision for their music.

With the EP finalised the band are preparing to get behind the release and out onto the road. With shows lined up along the east coast of Australia Rigasaurus are looking ahead, excited about taking their music to a new audience and playing as many shows as possible into 2016.

It's dark, heavy, rock ’n’ roll.
