Adam Lambert on 'Adam Lambert Day': 'It's not annual like a birthday'

'Trespassing' superstar Adam Lambert has revealed that Adam Lambert Day was a special event that isn't supposed to be celebrated every year.

Replying to one of his fans who had wished him a Happy Adam Lambert Day this afternoon (May 8), the superstar explained that while he appreciates the love he wants to tell people that 'his day' was a one-off event:

"Aww thanks for the memories -- but I think it was only my day, THAT day 5 yrs ago ... I don't think it's annual like a bday."

Despite his attempts at confirming the event's stand-alone nature, his followers went on celebrating anyway and one shared a tweet with him that read: "Well to us Glamberts it's EVER YEAR! Lol."

The hitmaker is currently working on music for a brand new album and will head out on tour as the frontman for iconic rock band Queen across the USA this summer. The tour is due to kick off on June 19 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
