Adam Lambert addresses gun control issues: 'What can we do to prevent senseless killing?'

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert took to his official Twitter page to slam America's gun laws and explained that it's sickening to think of all the 'senseless killings' that take place as a result of citizens having such easy access to firearms.

Writing on his social networking page last night (June 10), the superstar admitted that something needs to be done to change the laws because too many people die at the hands of guns:

"Gun Control is a serious issue in the US. What do we need to do to prevent senseless killing? Ridiculous. Law enforcement should be the only ones who are allowed to carry firearms. That's it."

The 'Trespassing' hitmaker, meanwhile, is currently working on a brand new album and recently told reporters at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards that it's an 'exciting project': "I'm very excited by it. I think people are going to be surprised and excited by it."
