Adam Lambert has given his thoughts on the conduct of the US police force.

A number of incidents in recent times have prompted criticism of the law enforcers.

There have been protests across the world about the death of Eric Garner, a black man who died during an arrest in New York in July.

There was also huge unrest after police shot dead Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri in August.

Speaking on Twitter today (December 12), vocal powerhouse Lambert said that he finds the apparent lack of control worrying.

The American said: "I'm just gonna state the obvious - the recent rise in US Police Brutality and lack of judgement is disgusting. C'mon guys. WTF?

"I know there are a lot of good cops out there but the system's f*cked. Justice has been warped. What do we do to fix it?"
