Adam Lambert on new album's producers: 'They're at the very top of their game'

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert has confirmed that the first single from his highly anticipated new album will be released in April and he has now spoken out about who he has been working on the record with.

In a new revealing interview with Billboard, Lambert confirmed that he has been working on the offering with producer Shellback, whose production credits include Taylor Swift's 'Shake It Off', Ariana Grande's 'Problem', and One Direction's 'Kiss You'.

The other executive producer of the 'Trespassing' sensation's forthcoming new album is Max Martin, who is known for co-writing Britney Spears' 'Stronger' and Katy Perry's 'I Kissed A Girl', and producing Taylor Swift's amazing new album, '1989'.

Speaking to Billboard about getting both Shellback and Martin on board, Lambert explained: "I was working on demos and scheduled a meeting with them. They're two of my favourite producers and at the very top of their game. I love everything they do, and was really excited to sit back down with them after having worked on 'For Your Entertainment'."

"It was great to reminisce and laugh. It was an easy, humble, casual vibe, and when you're in the studio, that's what you want. I played them a song and we got very excited. They heard my personal growth, and lyrically, the things that I was trying to say. Long story short, they offered me a deal to be executive producers of this album, and that felt like a big moment."
