Adam Lambert unveils 'The Original High' album cover

Adam Lambert has revealed the artwork for his upcoming new album.

The singer is due to release 'The Original High' as his third record this spring/summer.

The US star uploaded the album's cover art to Twitter overnight, with the black and white image focusing on Lambert's head and shoulders.

The 'Trespassing' man will precede the record with the song 'Ghost Town', which will be revealed on Tuesday (April 21).

Speaking recently about 'The Original High', Lambert told Notion:

"[The album is] dance-y but bittersweet, and the lyrics are a little darker [than they have been, previously]. I've done the more bubblegum stuff, I've done the camp stuff, and now I want to encourage people to face their sh*t. I want to show them the part of me that's not all polished or [still part of] the 'pageant on TV' thing – I want it to be real, you know?”
