Adam Lambert has landed in the top five of Tuesday's (June 16) midweek UK albums chart.

The singer released his latest effort 'The Original High' on Monday (June 15).

After performing well on iTunes, it was revealed that the record is currently No.4 on the official chart.

The news was confirmed by Lambert's UK rep.

The US star's best performing album in the UK to date is 2012's 'Trespassing'.

The record peaked at No.16, with the studio effort hitting the top spot in his native US.
