Adam Lambert: 'I want that deeper heart connection'

'Ghost Town' sensation Adam Lambert has revealed that he wants to find a 'deep heart connection' in his next partner.

Speaking to Yahoo! recently, the superstar admitted that while his career is taking priority at the moment, he wouldn't turn down the chance for love if it came knocking:

"One of the things that makes me happy is love, everybody loves love and everybody wants to love back. Relationships are a little tricky but everybody wants to have their heart taken care of. I have been single for two years now, some parts of it are fun but I think I'm getting to a point now where I'm like, 'I could fall in love again', that would be nice. I want that deeper heart connection but I'm travelling a lot and it's very difficult ... So I'm dating my album, we are in a monogamous situation."

He also recently spoke to Details magazine about growing up and admitted that he is now confident enough to stand up for himself in situations he might previously have bowed under the pressure of:

"For the first time in my life, over the last year or two, I feel like I'm a f**king grown-up! I definitely have a little dash of Peter Pan syndrome somewhere, where I always have a childlike attitude towards things. But I bought my first house this year, I have a business, I've done a lot for myself, and I've done a lot for my career."
