Adam Lambert shares adorable childhood story

'Ghost Town' sensation Adam Lambert recently stopped by the set of The Talk and opened up about the moment he first knew he wanted to be a performer.

Speaking to the hosts, which include Sharon Osbourne, the heartthrob confessed that his mother could probably pinpoint this moment because it happened when he was just 3-years-old:

"I mean, I've always been kind of precocious and over the top... when I was younger, my mom told me a story that there was this book on tape that we had - it was 'Sleeping Beauty' - and I was in the back seat of the car, she was running errands, and the tape player broke. I was about 3 and I knew every word and every voice... I was like Maleficent... my mom was like, 'oh my, how does he know every word?'"

Lambert, meanwhile, also recently opened up about his new musical direction and confessed that it was important to him to create new material that would resonate with his fans: "I want to be part of a trend, I want to be able to connect with everybody. But one nice thing about this album is that I didn’t compromise the vocal to do that. The voice is still coming from a real place, just the framework around the voice may have changed a bit."
