Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert recently took the stage with iconic rock band Queen to open the first night of Rock In Rio 30 and together they performed a re-worked version of Lambert’s single ‘Ghost Town’.

The band and Lambert played a song to a sold out crowd of 100,000 people and the dance-infused offering was transformed into a much more rock-inspired anthem complete with crunching guitars and pounding drums. 

Lambert took to his official Twitter page over the weekend and confessed that performing at the event was an amazing experience: "Thank You RIO!!!! What an amazing evening! @QueenWillRock."

The sensation also recently admitted that he has changed his sense of style and is no longer as interested in the theatrical look he was known for: "I've put down a lot of the makeup. I put the flat iron in the attic. I'm looking at people like Elvis and James Dean."
