Adam Lambert interested in playing at Glastonbury

Adam Lambert says he would be happy to grace the stage at Glastonbury.

The singer's side project Queen are regularly linked with performing at the iconic festival.

Rumours suggest the veterans could line-up at the event in 2016.

However, Lambert said on Alan Carr: Chatty Man that he hasn't heard anything about the speculation.

The US star said: "Why do we even care about the rumours, baby?"

"I don't know! That's the first time hearing of it, so I don't know. If they invited me, yes, of course I would [play]."

Speaking about Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor, Lambert added:

"Roger is still a rock star. Roger likes the good drink. He loves his clothing. And Brian is sweet and gentle and has humanitarian things he likes to talk about.

"It's lovely because we take a jet - it spoils me! It's fun because we talk about everything. They're amazing and really cool guys - great sense of humour and great stories that they tell from the past. It's good."

Lambert will appear on Alan Carr: Chatty Man tonight (October 16) on Channel 4 in the UK.
