Following on from starring on the cover of the re-launched UK fashion and music magazine Notion, an exclusive Adam Lambert video interview with the publication has now been released.

Filmed on location during the ‘Ghost Town’ star’s cover photoshoot, Lambert chats with Notion stylist and creative director Alexis Knox about the looks he modelled on the day, his new “fashion vibe” and what triggered his change in image. Speaking about his move away from flamboyant makeup and costumes, Adam explained:

“I think that I was trying to express myself… I was trying to be rebellious and weird but over the past five years I’ve realised that it’s a lot of f***ing work [laughs]… I would rather just streamline my life.”

On his current look, Lambert said: “I want to be more real. I want to connect with the real stuff that’s going on in my head, my heart and my spirit.”

Adam Lambert is currently battling homophobia in the form of a petition objecting to him performing in Singapore due to his sexuality. He has remained resolute in his commitment to playing the show which will “celebrate the entire human family in all its diversity.”
