Adam Lambert's 'Ghost Town' No.2 on Rolling Stone song of year list

Adam Lambert has reached No.2 on a Rolling Stone list of the year's best tracks.

The singer's tune 'Ghost Town' was deemed popular enough by readers to be named the second best song of 2015.

The publication said the single was "one of the most criminally overlooked dance tracks of the year".

It added: "American Idol-alum and guest frontman for Queen delivered one of the year's most shocking drops and best house single with 'Ghost Town'.

"The song starts slowly with just Lambert's voice and an acoustic guitar, then dips into a goth EDM beat."

Somewhat ironically, Madonna's 'Ghosttown' topped the list.

Lambert's single featured on his 2015 album 'The Original High'.
