Adam Lambert appeared on Channel NewsAsia recently for an interview with First Look Asia, which was aired today (January 6) in full.

The star kicked off his 2016 Asian tour in Singapore on New Year's Eve to headline Mediacorp's New Year countdown show at the Marina Bay Floating Platform.

Lambert was his usual relaxed self as he answered questions about first starting out on American Idol, his constant changing sense of fashion, personal growth and current tour for his latest album, 'The Original High'.

The Grammy nominated, multiplatinum selling singer-songwriter explained that he doesn't think he is as extravagant as he once was when he first started out, although he still likes to wear a touch of nail polish.

He also gushed about how much he loves his Asian fans and how sweet and appreciative they are about the hard work that he puts into his performances.

Adam Lambert reigned supreme recently in Pressparty's end of year readers' poll. The American singer topped six out of the eight categories in the fan-voted awards.

His 'Original High' live show came first in the Most Anticipated Tour of 2016 award with 60% of the votes.
